Margot L. Haber has had a successful career in legal placement spanning more than 25 years. In the late 1970's and early 1980's, Ms. Haber created the position of Recruitment Director at two prestigious Chicago law firms, Sonnenschein Nath & Rosenthal and Isham, Lincoln & Beale.  Ms. Haber was directly involved in revolutionizing the way national law school recruiting was handled by large law firms. Since the mid 1980's, Ms. Haber has been active in the field of lateral attorney placement in New York. After working as a legal recruiter at a number of well respected New York legal search firms, Ms. Haber founded Margot Haber Legal Search, Inc. in 1995.  She has successfully placed top credentialed attorneys at all levels, both at major law firms (including both New York-based firms and out-of-town firms with major New York offices) and in prominent national and multinational corporations.  

Ms. Haber graduated, with honors, from the University of Illinois in 1977 with a Bachelor of Science degree from the College of Communications.
